General Information
During the 10-day festival, you’ll find a variety of entertainment, food
and fun on the Wurstfest Grounds in Landa Park and many special events
throughout New Braunfels and Comal County. The following information is
provided to help answer the many questions our visitors have. Additional
information can be obtained from the Wurstfest Association, Post Office
Box 310309, New Braunfels, Texas 78131-0309. Call 830/625-9167, or toll
free 1-800-221-4369 from anywhere in the United States.
HOURS and SCHEDULE: Wurstfest opens on weekdays at 5 pm, and Saturdays
and Sundays at 11 am. Closing times vary by day.
ADMISSIONS: There is an admission charge to enter the festival grounds. This fee provides access to all entertainment areas, including the Wursthalle. Children 12 and under are admitted free. Group rates and special day discounts are available. Admission is for the entire day.
FOOD and DRINK: Food and drinks are sold throughout the grounds.
Visitors are prohibited from bringing food and beverages onto the
grounds. This includes, but is not limited to beer, wine and
distilled spirits.
SEATING: Seating is provided in all entertainment areas. Patrons may
not bring personal seating (such as bag chairs) onto the festival
grounds.
PROPER ATTIRE: Shirts and shoes are required attire for festival
patrons.
RAIN: Wurstfest continues rain or shine, and no rain dates are
scheduled.
PARKING: Parking in the area adjacent to the festival grounds is
limited. A shuttle service may be available from local hotel, motel and
resort facilities, as well as from some of the major attractions.
HANDICAP FACILITIES: Grounds are handicap accessible. Handicap parking
is available in both the Knights of Columbus and Lions Club parking lots
located on Landa Street across from Wurstfest Gate #1 and inside Landa
Park on Elizabeth Street across from Gate #3.
PETS and SERVICE ANIMALS: No pets other than service animals are allowed
on the Wurstfest Grounds.
FIRST AID: Emergency Medical Technicians are on duty on the festival
grounds at all times.
LOST PEOPLE: A lost people post is located at the Information Booth.
Members of the Wurstfest Association are on duty to provide assistance.
ATM $$$: Aautomatic teller machines are available on the festival grounds.
Space is available for private or corporate parties.
